Ingredients
For the Chicken & Veggies:
- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (broccoli, bell peppers, carrots, snap peas)
- 2 tbsp oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the Honey Garlic Sauce:
- ⅓ cup honey
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar or lemon juice
- 1 tsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp. water (slurry)
Garnish (optional):
- Sesame seeds
- Chopped green onions
Instructions
- Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
- Heat oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken and cook 5–7 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove to a plate.
- In the same pan, add vegetables and stir fry 3–4 minutes until crisp-tender.
- In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, oyster sauce, garlic, and vinegar.
- Return chicken to the pan and pour in the sauce.
- Stir and cook 2–3 minutes. Add cornstarch slurry and cook until sauce thickens.
- Toss everything to coat well. Garnish and serve hot.
