Ingredients

  • 8 oz noodles (spaghetti, fettuccine, or egg noodles)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)
  • ¾ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • ¼ tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
  • 2 tbsp. chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Cook noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Pour in heavy cream and simmer gently for 2–3 minutes.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  • Add cooked noodles and toss to coat, adding reserved pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
